"Cailin's Lyric" is a story of love and loss between a mother and her daughter.  Pregnancy/child loss is a taboo subject forcing women around the world to suffer their loss in silence.  Cailin's Lyric acknowleges the grief/loss process and opens the conversation for a difficult subject.  It is a tribute to all lost angels.
There is no grief like the grief that does not speak."
            Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
            (1807-1882)
Mike and Sandi suffered the loss of their daughter to stillbirth several years ago.  Although not intended as a direct factual account, "Cailn's Lyric" was very much inspired by their story.  Although it is touching, the film is more uplifting than sad.

"Cailin's Lyric" is a music-based narrative.  Do we mean a music video?  Well, it's similar to a music video, but different.  Most music videos are focused on a musical artist, a singer or band.  We are very thankful for the musicians who performed for the film (Patrick Crecelius, Mark Stoffel), but "Cailn's Lyric" doesn't focus on a musician.  Also, the film tells a more defined and stronger story than your average music video.

The film screened at the Tivoli Theater to a sold out audience.  The film has been shared with many others.  It is not only a comfort if you have lost a child.  If you know someone who is grieving a loss, it helps give you some insight, too.  If you have suffered a loss or know someone who has, please feel free to contact us.
